Summer School
This class is perfect for bloggers, shop owners, and anyone wanting to take a good photo.
When: June 18
Time: 10AM- 1PM
Where: Ace Cleaners Space, Portland
All students must bring their own SLR camera. Digital is preferred, but film is fine too.
Super fun workshop at the Ace. This hands on workshop will build your confidence photographing people and things. The class is suited for beginners and intermediate photographers. I'll demo posing and lighting basics and walk you through it. We will have a lovely model on set to practice your new skills. I'll also demo photographing products and objects using natural window light. You will have time to ask questions and shoot photos.
We will cover:
- recommended camera settings
- lens selections
- basic lighting for people and objects
- setting yourself up for a successful photograph
- posing people
- composition
